UPM-KU Postgraduate Journey

Fuhhh. Ive been wanting to tell ths story properly since like foreeverrr!

But Im going to just make everything short. Inshaallah

Let me first congratulate u for successfully enrolled for this golden mess XD

Alhamdulillah. Never in my life imagined to be so lucky to have this journey & yet feel so tired since Im one of the pioneer for ths programme.

U know everything is quite hard as one of the first student sbb kita taktau flow of the study. But dont worry. Allah is always there watching & helping. Dont worry oke Dear!

as for some part for UPM's postgraduate journey, I usually check this blog out since quite pening bila sampai part kena submit thesis ! check sini utk thesis submission for UPM okay :D

as for KU, kasetsart university yg I think most of the lower graduate officer veryyyyy shyyy to speak english thus complicate our understanding thus related to complicate everything T.T

As one of the first dual degree students for KU-UPM, I hope both uni will regulate new regulations nicely specially for us international students sbb we literally dont have much time & money to travel back & forth to settle everything. Its so tiring & I almost giving up T.T

However, all information were actually provided clearly in the website as well as ithesis website (do click all link given!)

Just follow this international checklist for rough journey here that I made specially for Kasetsart University students XD *sorry copy paste dari microsoft word jeee

Its quite hard & leceh in KU sebab we need to fill up & send all those forms manually. Ambil masa jugak untuk tunggu. huhu Banyakkan berdoa jela time tunggu nie okay! T.T

Regulations	Remarks	Documents required
1.    Registration	Within 2 weeks of commencement of semester (Please refer ISC schedule!)	KU 1; KU 3; General request form depending on your problems
2.    Appoinment of Thesis Advisory Committee	Within 4 semesters. Please appoint your SV in UPM to KU	To appoint UPM SV in KU, do provide   o    Latest CV           Biodata form of Lecturer (website) Submit this first, in order KU to generate lecturer code before submitting committee form GS.02
3.    English Proficiency Examination	To be completed within first/second semester	Transfer IELTS result using General request form to ISC
4.    Submission of Thesis Proposal	Just do this ASAP ! GS.05 form/ithesis system Master degree: within 4 semester Doctoral degree: within 6 semester	Please just complete submission GS.05 ASAP! Study title must exactly the same prior for thesis in UPM!
5.    Qualifying Examination/Comprehensive Examination	Master degree (Plan A1) and Doctoral degree MUST PASS this examination prior for Final Oral examination (Viva voce) at least 120 days!	Complete GS.06 Need at least two committee to do this examination. Advisors committee timetable
6.    Final Oral Examination aka Viva Voce (as in UPM)	Master degree: Thesis proposal must be approved at least 90 days before ths examination Doctoral degree: Thesis proposal must be approved at least 270 days before ths examination	Complete Form GS.07     - Suggest 3 external examiner from UPM (must b same as viva voce in UPM if the student chose to defend in UPM     - External examiner latest CV – fill up form same like nominate SV     - 3 examiner from KU     - All signaturessss     1 soft bound of exactly same thesis submitted in UPM following KU format         Akarawisut plagiarism checker (Turnitin not accepted in KU)     Advisors committee timetable    Completion Study Approval GS.03 (Complete this first!)     Credit Transfer Prove (Please do ths first!)
7.    Thesis Dissemination	Master (Plan A1): Complete thesis publication in journal Doctoral degree :  Complete thesis publication in a peer-reviewed journal	TH.04 & General request form. Submit this form anytime as long as journal according to study title has been published! Check KU grad school to check list of accepted journals
8.    Thesis	Follow website	So many list that I decided to make a new post
