the upgraded life

 Assalamualaikum dear hearts,

Alhamdulillah I guess ths is my first yet official public post about my personal life here. Hahaha Been updating the more detail personal life in my other private blog.

Alhamdulillah, currently its been more than 4 months I am married to love of my life <3

There are so much things to learn, adapt as well as keep on during ths strangely new life phase. After quitting my job in Singapore end of last year (well quit sbb covid jugak sebenarnya since susah nk crossed border), my new life is much more relaxing compare to before. Alhamdulillah for the extra hundreds of minutes. 

Well, everything was in rush I must say while trying to settle everything for my wedding after I balik dari Sg. Alhamdulillah my boss were kind enough to let me go back through PCA (which shortens my quarantine life to only 3 days after gotten negative swab test). Right after I got released from my quarantine, Naim came directly from KL and fetch me at JB so that he can send me straight back to Segamat to complete our nikah form. Fuhhhh. aint easy man, aint easy hahahahha plus ths covid pkpp situation.

After more than 3-5 times trying to solve the venue of our akad nikah, akhirnya Imam agreed for us to nikah at dewan. It was so hard to convince the Imam about our SOP. But thankfully in the end, he agreed. Alhamdulillah, we finally tied the knot on 12 September 2020.

Alhamdulillah for all the kind help, wishes & guest who came on that day. Baru tahu jadi pengantin sangatlah penat. Trying to settle akad, ceremony as well as any other small events on the same day were quite tiring T.T I dont even have proper time to layan all my girls who came to help me with the doorgift and event setup. Terima kasih sangat-sangat for my kakaks iparss yg tolong especially kak Jery tolong settlekan baju for the whole family. Abang-abang yg sangat membantu dalam mengecat rumah, mengemas rumah, settle doorgifts, sponsor itu & ini. Alhamdulillah for kindest and sweetest in law's. Mama dengan rajin dan sweet prepare all those bunga telur which is so nice & beautiful, emy tolong sponsor cake, abg long and kak long yang bantu settle tetamu bahagian lelaki dari segi accommodation & food etc. Alhamdulillah mashallah tabarakallah for every single things that Allah granted to me & Naim on our big day <3

Alhamdulillah finally I end my masteral research journey in UPM during ths 43th convocation!

Be positive & never forget your prayers, you shall end your journey in UPM like me soon!

Plagiarism Checker Turnitin vs Akkrawisut

Plagiarism checker is a must in any submission of thesis either at UPM or KU. Been trying to use turnitin for submission in KU but they refused it, so, I kena balik & redo balik (which means ambil masa berharga I). So, I'm alerting u now, dont repeat the same mistake as I did & please utilize your time & effort okay.

So, untuk turnitin most of u mesti dah tahu. Asked your SV to create one special class for u & nnt dia akan bg enrollment key, then log in & upload your thesis there ok :) Waiting time utk checking is a bit long, sometimes for my case almost a day, I guess dia ikut lengthen of your writing plus the internet connection.

Nanti upload je your thesis kat button submit tu then tunggu :) Turnitin must less than 30 % ke berapa tah I tak ingat utk lepas for submission in UPM. Yg 14% nie kawan I punye thesis, I tolong check tp kekadang yg similarity tu perkara yg tak dapat kita ubah, mcm "figures/photo/materials method" hmm ape la

Nanti utk submission, print out yg report colourfulyg ade tulis similarity index, bukan 1 whole thesis oke XD

Utk KU pulak guna Akkrawisut plagiarism checker. A must! Tp senang gile. Tak perlukan enrollment key or any specific sign up account mcm turnitin. So, for akkrawisut, just google then used your kasetsart account id (*****@ku,ac.th) utk upload thesis oke :) you need to use your kasetsart ID. u can check your KU student portal profile for your email.

masukkan email adress KU kt situ then select your thesis file then dapat report print out!

Once da dapat report (just click the inspection report link), just print out the front page then isi form TH04 & asked your SV to sign then done! Sangat simple akkrawisut nie. Senang jeee bila dah buat XD

I got 0% for akkrawisut & less than 10% for turnitin, so after everything done, just send every requirement needed to respective university.

UPM Postgraduate Submission

Greetings there!

I thought in creating another brief method on how to submit thesis in UPM but once I google it, I found many links that were well prepared by Graduate Schools of UPM about the process. Unlike when googling about the method done in KU, maybe because most of it were in Thai language.So, briefly just go here for submission for viva & here for submission after viva. Its not that hard compare to KU T.T so, be grateful & good luck!

Publication requirement in UPM. Jangan lupa submit & publish at least one paper to avoid further delay on graduation process later.

Make use of google search engine and search everything in english because UPM used english language not malay although Bahasa Malaysia is our national language. After all, we are university students & english is our common used language !

KU Postgraduate Submission Flowchart

Hello there

I would like to congratulate anyone yg encounter & chosen to use iThesis in KU just like me & please embrace everything patiently okay XD

iThesis was first introduced around 2018, and students ID startng with 60** are compulsory to use it. To date (January 2019), I only knew 1 students able to graduate using iThesis which is my best friend while in Thai ! Its so hard for me. But actually sistem tu sangat bagus. like realllyyy gooooddd

cuma biasalah during first second year, system is still unstable & need more improvement, so, good luck dear people!

Mereka prepare flowchart for each students punye progress. Very specific milestone!

So, ada 3 major submission we need to complete within our study there. I actually taken all these notes from the iThesis that Graduate School has prepared.

But briefly, untuk proposal submission, all students including us (dual degree) required to follow ths stepsss

Briefly, clearly ths were the method that we have to face in order to submit our proposal. Ithesis method on the left while the normal process shown on the right 

So we have to follow all the procedures given, but please embrace all the time needed for the submission process to be completed okay. For dual degree student yg tak cukup masa (minimum time required to stay in KU around 1 semester for master and 2 semester for pHD. And as for my concern & experience, the time given were not enough to complete all process. So, please plan everything properly okay. Thesis proposal must be approved before conducting final oral or viva at least

Master : 90 days

Doctoral : 270 days 

At the same time, do not forget to conduct & pass comprhensive examination prior for final oral examination.

Next, once everything done and dusted. After everything dah siap, thesis da well written, preparation for submission for final oral should be carry out. So, all details needed (thesis with KU format, Akarawisut plagiarism checker report, completion form) kena attach bersama utk submit borang final oral. 

If u carry out your viva in UPM which is same like me, u just need to prepare everything & complete ths form for the sake of the date only which means tak perlu reviva in KU because in the MOU mentioned only 1 final oral examination je yg kena carry out. Thats why everything done in UPM or KU must be equally the same. Exactly the same to avoid the redundant or plagiarism of the thesis & title.

It may look simple but I took more than 2 weeks just to submit ths form and almost a month to be process by the graduate school for the result T.T

 Next, after everything dah settle, correction dah siap., u can finally hard bound the thesis ! o yeah! It may sounds easy but bila I tengok flow chart nie I rasa mcm nak pengsan sebab I told my arjan that I dont wanna go to KU again XD But not sure yet. I havent reach ths step yet T.T

I think trhoughout all d process, UPM system is quite easier sbb everything online but KU a bit susah sebab kena hantar semua form manually. It is so tiring sbb we need to follow up everything every week yg menyebabkan we need to stay there sbab tanak menyusahkan org lain kt sana. Plus, as for me yg not financially strong, hmm going back & forth to Bangkok from KL cost a lot of money. Flight ticket, accomodation and makanan semua kena guna duit. So, try lh settle secepat boleh sbb if dapat scholarship pun, scholarship hanya cover our financial only during that 1 semester we chose to stay in KU but not during the time we settling all form utk final oral & thesis submission. hahahha

But after all, we kill two birds by using 1 stone. We will graduated with two transcript from two different yet excellent university internationally with only 1 study title! Isnt it tempting & good? So, everything need sacrifices so we should do our part beautifully.

UPM-KU Postgraduate Journey

Fuhhh. Ive been wanting to tell ths story properly since like foreeverrr!

But Im going to just make everything short. Inshaallah

Let me first congratulate u for successfully enrolled for this golden mess XD

Alhamdulillah. Never in my life imagined to be so lucky to have this journey & yet feel so tired since Im one of the pioneer for ths programme.

U know everything is quite hard as one of the first student sbb kita taktau flow of the study. But dont worry. Allah is always there watching &amp; helping. Dont worry oke Dear!

as for some part for UPM's postgraduate journey, I usually check this blog out since quite pening bila sampai part kena submit thesis ! check sini utk thesis submission for UPM okay :D

as for KU, kasetsart university yg I think most of the lower graduate officer veryyyyy shyyy to speak english thus complicate our understanding thus related to complicate everything T.T

As one of the first dual degree students for KU-UPM, I hope both uni will regulate new regulations nicely specially for us international students sbb we literally dont have much time &amp; money to travel back & forth to settle everything. Its so tiring & I almost giving up T.T

However, all information were actually provided clearly in the website as well as ithesis website (do click all link given!)

Just follow this international checklist for rough journey here that I made specially for Kasetsart University students XD *sorry copy paste dari microsoft word jeee

Its quite hard & leceh in KU sebab we need to fill up & send all those forms manually. Ambil masa jugak untuk tunggu. huhu Banyakkan berdoa jela time tunggu nie okay! T.T

Idea untuk kerja part time

Hi there.

Salam !

Its quite wasteful for me if I tak cerita about my experience being freelancer or doing part time job while completing my research in UPM. Soooo manyyy jobssss yg available nowadays, it just either you like it or willing to do it or rajin ke tak jee. But as for me, I have been searching and trying so many kind of job that suits with my taste since I quite brave and curious in everything. It was quite hard at first since I spent literally almost 4 years in Sabah plus Im not used to KL/Selangor route yet. But don’t worry, times will teach u slowly…

If u ada kereta, tahniah & Alhamdulillah!  

Or any transport pun or willingness inshaalah you boleh cari duit & pengalaman. But after all, please remember to always be kind & pray to Allah. Try solat awal waktu, jangan tinggal baca al-quran, dhuha & never stop pray!

As freelancer, kau akan nampak life sepenuhnya bergantung kepada rezeki & usaha, bukan lah pendidikan semata. I learnt to be patient & redha with everything easier while being freelancing.

1. Grab/Uber/Cab

1.     

Grab nie sangat menyeluruh. I really love my job as student cab before! I amek perempuan je as passenger to make me feel safer. Ive been doing uber before, but I tak bole tahan bila fon mati and I am stranded somewhere weird sbb I taktau jalan. So better buat prebet sapu, find your own customer okay! Grab food/grab documents/grab banyak laa. Try je ok.

A 5 star comment from the rider whom first received a woman driver though actually I was sesat but she totally fine with it sbb I banyak cakap LOL 

Play with surge rate to double the fare, same concept applied to grab but untuk student cab, flat rate or u may decide yourself dgn budi bicara penumpang oke :)

2. Ninjavan

Okay. Ninjavan nie boleh pergi je mana-mana office/gudang dia, Tanya je ade bole tak nak jadi driver. I love ths job at first, but, as time goes by, I dpt byk barang pastu fon I mati then I tak dapat nak hantar brg tu due to time, so I need to return all items back to gudang. I feel sad & low self esteem bila tengok barang utk hari tu tak habis dihantar *which means akan menyusahkan driver besoknya utk hantar* Thus, I stop and quit for now.

Tak sempat nak makan proper. I makan roti je sambil drive.

3. Kereta Sewa area UPM/Serdang/KL

Okay, before I start buat grab, I start dgn sewakan kereta dulu sbb I taktahu jalan sangat. During my busy time buat research, ths quite helfpful sbb u literally rent ur car to someone then claimed it when allocated time finish with your money.  Cuma cari customer yg okay la, by means, during my time, student je yg selalu sewa utk buat assignment. Dorang return exactly to me back and my research during that day done. Mutual benefit kannn gituuuu 

Ramai suka sewa kat kami sebab kami sediakan perkhidmatan sewa separuh hari dan jam. Tapi depending on availability tau! Boleh contact Amer untuk booking

4. Home Tuition

Sebenarnya sangat senang if taktahu mana nak mula. Just pergi mana-mana pusat tuisyen & apply utk jadi cikgu, if not you can contact or google anyone yg buat or else if nak lagi untung. Market yourself! Buat ads and let the area knows yg u can teach and nnt parent akan contact directly. Some of my friends buat mcm nie & their monthly payment reach almost 3k per month! Ada kawan yg ajar kanak-kanak yg umur 5 tahun just for the sake of nk anak tu occupied dgn benda yg bagus. Oh, many rich people with no times nowadays, just help them out!

5. Crew Hotel

Ths job I baru discover few years back when I scrolling Twitter. Paling best jugak sebab u akan dapat payment on the spot after habis kerja. I worked previously at Grand Hyatt Hotel and payment was around RM8-RM 10/hour. Selalu u need to work at least 10-12 hours depending on staff & schedule. Its quite tiring but worth it sebab dapat duit instant then makan free yg sedap which is hotel kannn *wink* Not all hotels provided ths service though, u need to find it. Once da masuk bidang nie, there will be always somebody akan mintak u kerja dgn dia kat hotel lain XD

Grand Hyatt besides KLCC je :) Ada banyak sessi, kena tanya dulu plus kena follow dress code ya 

 6. Online Business

This isn’t something new. Just jadi je dropshipper kalau u malas nak marketing *mcm i* I am dropshipper for some excellent books from some publisher & my job hanya entertain ws je. I got RM 50-RM300 per month just by replying ws. Alaaa banyak je, open your own carrousel account & start sell anything. Banyakklahh. We are currently living in the environment where internet is a must. So many platform available, u just need to utilize it very well aje!

7. Documentation/Translating

Alhamdulillah. I did few jobs on translating as well as buat soalan for primary students before. I cant remember how did I got it since I rajin sangat cari plus rezeki jugak kot. But if u ada kawan dgn cikgu, cikgu banyak mtk buat kerja nie sebab mereka busy tak sempat kadang-kadang nak siapkan  semua kerja within time frame, so, dari situuulaahh kita membantu XD

8. Jual Barang

I am so lucky sbb I suka save number customer student cab ramai-ramai dalam contact list sampai 2k! By the time whatsaap wujudkan story tu, I found it really helpful as marketing platform. LOL. Starting from that, I can easily spread any news as well as anything to my contact list. 

Previously, I jual some few rare & nice items from Thailand. Overwhelming request. Paling senang in facebook, sebab once orang share your post to any group, practically kerja u hanya amek order je. I remember one time I need to delete the post yg I buat pasal jual air plant sebab ramai gila yg order & I terus pening kepala nak settle order. LOL. 

Patung nie boleh cabut cabut & customize. I bought ths for my nieces tp sekarang semua dah bsepah mana :)

Beg ini tersangatlah cantik. Boleh customize tali. Harga pun tak mahal :)

Penggunaan lace membuatkan beg nie nampak mahal padahal tak pun

Manusia gigih XD Datang Thailand untuk belajar tp sambil-sambil cari duit juga :)

Then I try jual makanan yg I suka iaitu tahu bergedil sbb I find it quite hard jugak nak dapat and Alhamdulillah dapat untung juga. But ingat, once masuk dlm bisnes, niat utk bsedekah kena ada sekali utk pahala bterusan okay.

Sell what you love XD

Sushi, sandwich, dimsum & kurma milkshake. Pnah join bukak kedai sengsorang kt kolej canselor, UPM then cod sngsorang semuanya naik kereta. ya allah gigih nya aiiiiiii

9. Craft/hobbies

Do u know felt? Do u know how to sew? Back then I love sewing sbb anak tukang jahit la katakann. Try buat craft melalui felt, kain yg bole dapat kat daiso or diy murahmurah tu, then jahit dia menjadi bantal or anything. I used to make keychain out of it! I made domokun keychain! Pastu bantal yang bole tulis nama, teens gila suka bendalah tu especially couple yg suka buat tulisan nama gf vs bf tu lol

10. Personal Shopper

If u love to travel (within country) ada banyakkkk sangat makanan yg viral meletops letops sekarang nie. Sebagai freelancer, apa kelebihan kita? MASA! 

Sometimes mereka yg kerja tetap nie sangat busyy tapi duit ada tapi masa takda, thus, end up selalu someone yg belikan is better. I pernah jd personal shopper utk IKEA, Kari Kambing 40 hari (sbb lalu dri uma kawan), Klebang Coconut Shake, Keria Antarabangsa etc etc etc Advertise everything. Utilize social media well okay !!!!

Penuh myvi nie I beli pinggan mangkuk nie 1000 pcs XD then send directly ke rumah. usually servis nie senang dgn member or family rapat laaaa

11.  Promoter!

Okay. Kerja nie paling banyakkkkk sekali yg I jumpa. Baik promoter during weekend kt any malls dgn bayaran RM 80-120/day baik promoter kt kedai makan, giant, tesco, alaa pergi je mall mana-mana mesti ada punye. I hampir nak masuk black canyon dulu sbb rate dia agak tggi bbanding kfc/mcd which around RM 7 pastu if overtime, rate boleh cecah RM11/jam which I find it very expensive! Tp lau nak masuk bidang f&b kena pastikan ada suntikan thypoid oke. If xnk, u can always work at aeon, parkson or brands outlet or any other clothing outlet. I don’t prefer this kind of job sbb I buat research pastu masa I tak menentu, pastu if kerja mcm nie every weekend u confirm kena kerja so I xnk! Weekend are meant for familyyy. Gittuuuu.

After all, semuanya pengalaman berharga utk seorang nadia. Memang tak kaya la buat semua kerja nie tp at least, I got to expand my circle & knowledge! Pastu seorang nadia tak susahkan ayah malah boleh la bg singgit dua kt ayah. Inshalllah.
